Hello, everyone!

I'm making this journal to clear some stuff as well as give you some updates.

First off, I'm very happy on the reception of the finale. I have given it a week to simmer and most of the feedback is positive. I was worried uploading this because the beginning and the ending of a story are what make and leave the biggest impression. The main reoccurring complaint I see is that the ending was dragged out. Really this was intentional and directive intention. More often than not I see complaints of rushed ending and no closure so I tried to make sure I closed everything with a nice little bow. For example, look at Return Of The King, there is still almost 45 minutes left in the movie after the Ring is destroyed and it's revered as one of the best trilogies of all time- not comparing my work to it of course, but I was influenced by it. Long story short, I rather have some people complain it was too long rather than it was rushed. You could always just close it as soon as trial is over and pretend they all lived happily ever after.

Anyway on to another reoccurring theme I see in the comments: A Sequel.
Now, I want to clear some things up. The reason a sequel is not happening is not because of what happened to Apple Bloom's voice actress way back, in fact that negative ended up turning into a positive. Michelle Creber (Apple Bloom's actual voice actress from the show) PMed her a supportive message and she decided to come back after being dead set on not doing it again, and we were able to cast Pearl through the auditions for being Apple Bloom's understudy.

When I said I didn't want to do a sequel it was mostly because, I don't think I can. I went into Turnabout Storm focused on not falling into the trap most ambitious projects do and disappear off the face of the earth, and I succeeded. To tell the truth I was becoming burned out by part 3, but tried to maintain a friendly relationship with the people leaving support and- believe it or not, trolling to motivate me to keep going. With a sequel, I just don't know if I can do it again. You guys wouldn't like it if I got to like part 2/5 then disappeared would you? I wouldn't like that. Some of you will know the time and effort required to work on projects like these. its not easy, motivation comes and goes and it's hard to work on something when you are unmotivated.

Now this may be a hot button reason to not do a sequel, but I'll do my best to explain. I didn't like Magical Mystery Cure and what it did. I could just leave it at that, but I'll continue. Yeah, I'm still butt-hurt about this episode. The idea of Twilight as a princess is everything I was happy MLP wasn't and because of that it's just made MLP a lot less fun to me now. With Equestria Girls I didn't like that either, but at least I can just ignore that movie and pretend it didn't happen, but with Princess Alicorn Twilight there is no way I can ignore the fact she has wings on her back and sports a lofty title. If you like it, you are not wrong for liking it, perception isn't reality as they say. I won't go into the reasons WHY I hated MMC and Princess Twilight as this issue seems to spawn a lot of ruthless debate, but unless they can pull a miracle out of their hat in S4 regarding the concept there is nothing I like about it, and I don't ever want to have to write about Princess Twilight. Again, if you like it, there is nothing wrong with that.

Another reason is, I don't think it's needed. The satisfaction of leaving people wanting more is the best feeling in the world and just making a sequel just because of that is a very Hollywood move. I doubt I could top myself. It will just feel like I'm making a straight to DVD Disney sequel and I think it will just be underwhelming compared to Turnabout Storm. If YOU'D like to make a sequel, go right ahead! These aren't my characters and you have full permission to use the OCs created for it. In fact, link me to it, I'll probably enjoy reading/watching it.

I would really love to make another one, but these three paragraphs are in the back of my mind preventing me from doing it.

That however doesn't mean there isn't stuff regarding Turnabout Storm to come in the future. We have that bad ending thing to conclude, a blooper reel I wish to put out, and Making Turnabout Storm one giant 7 hour movie with a revised Part 1 and 2 with some new dialogue, revised graphics, and proportionally edited as I feel those two don't live up to the rest of the series standards. Just give me some time, as I said, I'm a bit burned out after all this and am just in an R&R stage.

Thank you for everyone's continued support and helping make Turnabout Storm a success and an overall great experience!

The closest and best you'll get to a sequel to Turnabout Storm is Elements of Justice, The trailer is really good.
